Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD), located in Warwick near Providence, is one of the main airports serving southern New England. Although smaller than major hubs such as Boston Logan, PVD is known for its efficient layout, short walking distances, and convenient passenger services. The airport operates a single passenger terminal divided into two main concourses (North and South), allowing travelers to move quickly between check-in, security checkpoints, and boarding gates.
The airport originally opened in 1931 and was later renamed after former Rhode Island governor and senator Theodore Francis Green.
